Now that we've discussed how and where medical alert pendants work, we'd like to talk about the differences between the two types of medical alert pendants we sell.
Comporium Alert offers two types of service--landline and cellular--for our elderly and disabled medical alert systems. Both of these plans come with a two way voice medical alert pendant.
The two way pendant allows you to have a conversation with the attendant or family member who answers your call. It doesn't matter if you aren't in the same room as the base station. Wherever you go in your home, you'll be able to tell them exactly what type of help you need and receive reassurance that help is on the way.
The two way pendant comes with a rechargeable battery that offers up to four hour talk and six month standby times. System test and battery test functions give you peace of mind that your pendant is working properly. Also, a combination of up to four two way voice pendants can be programmed to operate on one base unit.
The one way pendant makes an excellent addition to your personal emergency medical alert system. This pendant allows you to call for help but doesn't allow for a conversation through the pendant. However, you can still speak to someone through the base station.
Regardless of the accessories you choose, your Comporium Alert system will allow you to reach a trained professional when you need help the most. It's a small price to pay for feeling safe and secure in your own home. Call (803) 327-7233 to speak to a representative or order online today.
